Griffin Industries Embraces Food Safety

Griffin Industries is one of the first companies in the nation to receive certification under the historic Safe Feed/Safe Food Certification Program administered by the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA). This program was developed to ensure the delivery and continuous improvement of a safe feed supply. The Safe Feed/Safe Food Certification Program is open to livestock feed and pet food manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, integrated producers, meat processors, feed purchasers, livestock producers, renderers and others who are committed to food safety and proactive leadership.

Griffin is a charter member of the Safe Feed/Safe Food initiative and has received certification for all production facilities, the most of any company in this landmark endeavor.
