All of Griffin Industries' rendering plants and Bakery Feeds facilities are certified through The Rendering Industry Code of Practice, developed by the Animal Protein Producers Industry (APPI) in 2004. This code corresponds very closely to the initiatives taking place throughout the entire food chain and furthers the concept of safe feed...healthy livestock...safe food...healthy people. With continued intense scrutiny on all feed ingredients, the development of the Code of Practice based on Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) concepts shows great foresight.
